Have you ever "sold" a business project to your management or a venture to a financier? Did you ever happen to use PowerPoint or a similar presentation tool? Probably yes. Well, how much time did you invest in your slide deck? Were your slides beautiful?

Less is BEST
Thanks for bringing this topic up! until recently, I was one of those who tried to jam as much information as possible into each slide. I thought I was providing more value by adding loads of content.
Now I realize that a presentation shouldn't be a book ;-) and so I've gone very minimalistic. Less / almost no colors, drawings or paintings along side the text. Larger text and fewer words has forced me to focus on my message, and the results have been astounding!
More people get my message first time out now! Also, in place of text, a simple graph or diagram that tells a story works great! Everyone loves a story!
