Create while you Collaborate

Eugene Kim of Blue Oxen Associates, shares his thoughts on the real difference between Online and Face-to-face collaboration. It all comes down to 'artifacts' - those being the objects that you create to record and conduct your interaction. Artifacts are as important in face-to-face collaboration as in online collaboration. The difference is that online collaboration automatically creates an artifact - be it an email, or a wiki, or a video - which can later be shared, while face-to-face meetings do not necessarily. Turn up your audio and give this slideshare a listen. You'll definitely learn something.
