Community building
According to the article, it takes about two years for a forum community to establish itself. So we should better of starting our forum discussions sooner than later. Great article :-)
Ramp up period
I've noticed with the communities and groups we've launched over the last 5 years that it takes anywhere from 6 months - 2 years to reach that point where collaboration is strong, diversified and consistent. In the first phases, you'll find 95% of the content and contribution is from the creators of the community, group of forum.
