I was researching the origin of the "first hand shake", and when it first occured when I came across Daniela Arens's link. I had no intention of becoming a member of The Moderator Community until I read Daniela's warm invitation. So, if you think words are not persuasive...think again. I thought this might be worth looking into.

I see you're a community manager at favelafabric and you're looking for info on:

"How to build programmes for community websites: how do you plan your programme? Is there a basic buildup that will work on most platforms? Are there any basic elements? And of course the ever returning question: how to handle users who are... less constructive in their contributions to community website?"

We have a lot of resources here on bulding, so I suggest you take a look at our community development and technology tab. And I'll be sure to let you know if I come across any new resources regarding your questions.
