For Members
The following Community Guidelines are intended to make the community an enjoyable place for everyone. Don't forget that your use of The Moderator Community is subject to these Guidelines and our Terms of Use.
The Golden Rules
1. Be familiar with and abide by our Terms of Use as well as the applicable national and international laws relating to our community.
2. Be respectful in the community.
3. Respect copyrights and the intellectual property of others.
4. Do not use the community as a cheap advertising channel.
5. Help us keep the community safe and clean.
In Detail
1. All use of The Moderator Community must comply with all applicable local, state, and federal rules, regulations, and laws. Don’t upload content which is illegal or prohibited. We reserve the right to delete your account and may report you to authorities if you use the community in any illegal way. By signing up for the community, you agreed to abide by our Terms of Use, which we take very seriously.
2. Always be respectful. The Moderator Community is a community of many types of people from all over the world whose opinions you may not always share. You do not need to agree with everyone, but accept that opinions can be different. Harassment, abuse, and intimidations of others will not be tolerated. If we receive a valid complaint about your conduct, we will send you a warning or may terminate your account.
Please keep in mind members from other cultures than your own may conduct themselves differently and communicate in ways different from your own.
3. This community is all about sharing resources, however please give the credit to those who deserve it. Do not post content protected by any intellectual property rights, including but not limited to copyright, trademark, or other proprietary rights, without permission from the owner. If you share resources in the resource centre or in one of the forums, please don’t forget to mention the source and link to it if possible. If you are not sure whether or not it is okay to post a resource, please only post content which are publicly available and link to them. The publication of private messages, messages containing false information, or articles from closed areas of The Moderator Community is not permitted and may lead to legal proceedings.
4. Do not use this community as a cheap advertising channel. Sponsorship opportunities may be posted in the monetization group only. Jobs are best placed in our dedicated job section and/or in a forum which is directly relevant to that job. If you run across spam or blatant commercial use, please report it using our reporting system. If it’s a light or first time offense you may help the user out by educating them that the content violates these community guidelines. If this does not help, please use the reporting system.
5. The Moderator Community does not edit content posted in our groups. Please make sure your contributions abide by our Terms of Use. If you see illegal or offensive contributions by others, please report them. The Moderator Community may, in our sole discretion, take action against users who post material or engage in activity that violates the law or our Terms of Use or is otherwise objectionable. This may include, without notice, termination of your The Moderator Community member account and everything associated with it, including groups, posts, contributed content, and profiles.
Always Room for Improvement
If you have any ideas to improve the community guidelines, please reach out to us. The community is always changing and the guidelines should of course stay up-to-date.
